Carissa K. Seidl - Associate

Biography

Carissa graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University in 2002 earning her bachelor's degree in Justice Studies with a minor in Psychology. She earned her law degree from Hamline University College of Law in January, 2005. During law school, Carissa clerked with the Office of the Public Defender, the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, and several general practice law firms in Minnesota and Arizona. Carissa volunteered with the Innocence Project of Minnesota and the Justice Project of Arizona investigating inmate's claims of actual innocence. Prior to joining Rose and Huey, Carissa litigated matters primarily involving family law, criminal misdemeanor defense, and bankruptcy. Carissa joined the firm of Rose and Huey, P.L.L.C. in May, 2008 where her main areas of practice are family law, juvenile law, and criminal law. Carissa has litigated cases in many counties of the Arizona Superior Courts and other Courts of the state. Carissa has also expanded her practice to assist Mr. Rose in handling several appellate level matters. Carissa is admitted to the Supreme Court of Arizona and the District Court of Arizona. She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona criminal law and family law committees. Carissa's primary areas of practice include: dissolution of marriage, legal separation, child custody, child support modifications, paternity, grandparent's rights, termination of parental rights, step-parent adoptions, post-decree modification and enforcement, criminal defense, DUI defense, assault, domestic violence, and orders of protection.
